Rug Allergy Treatment
Are You An Allergy Sufferer?
Here’s a New Way to Feel the Relief from Your Allergy Symptoms!
If you’re one of the 70 million Americans that suffer from allergies or allergic illnesses such as asthma or sinusitis you already know how miserable they can be.
What you may not know is that dust mite and pet allergen found indoors are one of the leading causes of allergic diseases. And people with relatively mild allergies can develop very serious, chronic and even life threatening illnesses if they continue to be exposed to allergens.
Anti-Allergen Cleaning & Treatment Procedures
Pre-Vacuuming:
All areas to be treated should be thoroughly pre-vacuumed before wet cleaning. The preferred method for pre-vacuuming is using a high quality HEPA filter vacuum cleaner or a turbine tool attached to a truck mount or portable extractor that is placed outside the living space. This is so the extractor’s exhaust is vented outside and not in the living space where it can spread allergens throughout the indoor environment.
STEP I
Pre-Treatment:
Pre-spray mattresses, upholstery, carpeting and any
textiles to be cleaned with Anti-Allergen PreSpray.
STEP II
Extraction Cleaning:
Use hot water extraction to clean pre-sprayed areas with Anti-Allergen All Fiber Rinse in the cleaning solution.
Mattress Cleaning:
This process starts with a thorough vacuuming of all sides of the mattress with a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner or a turbine hand tool attached to a truck mount or portable extractor placed outside the living space.
Mattress Deodorization:
This procedure is especially effective when mattresses need urine deodorization. This is because ResponsibleCare Anti-Allergen Deodorizer is an oxidizer that breaks down the cell walls of malodors causing them to break down into their harmless component parts. However, in order to be effective, the deodorizer needs to come into contact with the source of the odor, usually human sweat and urine in mattresses.
STEP III
Allergy Relief Treatment on Mattresses:
Apply a wetting mist of Allergy Relief Treatment to all sides of the mattress using a pump-up or electric sprayer with the appropriate tip.
Mattress Turning:
Generally, mattresses require turning every six months.
Allergy Relief Treatment Application on Carpet and Upholstery:
As with mattressess, the last step is to apply a wetting mist of Allergy Relief Treatment to all areas using a pump-up or electric sprayer.
